Stunned morning - Halong bay boat accident 17 Feb 2011

Meeting two survivors after disaster: Corda stefand and Sacconi (Italian nationality) In Bai Chay Hospital on 17th Feb,  the  scare still appear on their face

“we booked the trip for 3 days 2 nights in Halong bay, unexpected, we have had accident on the first day of our trip”    Corda Stefand told Dan Tri News.

Before the disaster, it was so nice weather, we did really enjoy our trip as we have been travel to many places but rarely somewhere else like Halong bay. Everything was well until the afternoon, the boat began to show some problems
I  my self  see some problems as the boat losing of balance  and  leaning to one side right after our dinner.  Keep calm my self, I thought I was worried to much.

However, I could not sleep that night. At 5.00 am, I climbing up the sundeck for refreshment. I realized that the boat has completely leaning to one side and sinking

Too scary,  I ran down and called Sacconi. The boat was going down quickly. I run through several rooms, those screaming chaos, while it is quiet for some rooms, they may sleep well and do not know what is happening.  Luck, Sacconi wake up as I thrust into the door.

”We ran up to the sun deck when the ship was almost sunk” said Stefand Sacconi. I just remember that someone ran up and down, try to wake up people.  Some people run out with  pajamas
Codra and I jumped into the sea with out feeling cold even it is drizzling  and temperature below 10 degrees. We swam in hope of being rescued and we were lucky to be alive them.
